Meet Amar - Your companion in capturing India’s streets, souls, and stories.

My name is Amar Nisaad, and I am a cultural and documentary photographer who grew up in Varanasi, one of the world’s oldest living cities, older even than history itself. I earned my Bachelor of Arts at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth University, which sparked my lifelong passion for the arts. Every day, as I walk these familiar streets, returning again and again, I find that life itself teaches me photography.

By immersing myself in both rural and urban India, I’ve spent years capturing the spiritual and cultural essence of this land. I have traveled from place to place, working side by side with communities, spending countless hours on the streets—in early mornings, late evenings—returning to the same corners to understand the rhythm and the unseen narratives. These experiences have shaped not only my photography, but also how I connect with people and tell their stories.

I invite you to join my photography tours—not just to capture images, but to learn, exchange ideas, and grow together. I share my firsthand knowledge, my personal insights, and practical advice to help you develop your photography, build confidence, and create powerful images that carry real meaning. India is a complex, colorful, and deeply emotional place, and my goal is to help you experience it honestly—so you return not just with photographs, but with memories, deeper understanding, and stories that stay with you—and also, so that I can learn from you in every possible way.
